Scarborough is on the north-east coast of England, 40 miles north of the City of Hull, 40 miles east of the City of York, and 20 miles south of Whitby. Scarborough was the first resort town in the UK and enjoys good facilities for family holidays as well as wheel-chair friendly parks, promenades and cliff gardens. Scarborough Christian Centre is the spiritual home of Scarborough Christian Fellowship and is located in Castle Road, Scarborough at the junction of Oxford Street - just a few minutes walk from the town centre shopping precinct, mid-way between the beaches on North Bay and South Bay. Directions: Find the main Railway Station, then go North past the Stephen Joseph Theatre to the police station at the next set of traffic lights. Turn right (East) into Victoria Road sign-posted towards the Castle. Scarborough Christian Centre will be found on the left, 100 yards past the next traffic lights (North). Click here to go to the interactive map. Parking: Residential "Disc" parking is in force, but on Sundays it is not in force until after 12 noon if you have a parking disc. Obtain these from the Pastoral Office or from any shop, hotel or boarding house in town. Parking restrictions cease at 5.00 pm each day, so attendance at Evening Services is not affected. For Saturday Conference parking, please contact the Pastoral Office at least 14 days beforehand and a scratch card will be sent to you. Should you have any difficulty finding us or parking, please contact the Pastoral Office on (01723) 500255.
